These Terms govern your use of AskTheAuthor. By creating an account or purchasing a book, you agree to them.

Accounts, payments, refunds, and acceptable use are described here in plain language with the legal version to follow.

We collect only what we need to run the service: account email, billing details handled by Stripe, and the voice/video samples and books you upload.

We never sell user data. We do not train third-party models on your content without explicit per-use consent.

You retain full ownership of your book, voice clone, and video avatar. You grant AskTheAuthor a non-exclusive license to host them and serve them to readers you authorize.

Revenue split: 70% to author on book sales, 20% to author on question bucket sales. Payouts on the 1st of each month.
